Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2, 1981) is a South African actress, model and a TV personality. Brandt has made her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. She began her acting career as a New Zealander in the show Diplomatic Immunity. The actress has appeared on several television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is the character Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa and later immigrated to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. She began her career as a model when she appeared in commercials and print ads. Prior to her rise to fame as a model she worked in the field of retail sales and also served as an expert in recruitment for information technology. On the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played Leilani F'auigaese back in 2009, her first major role was secured. in 2021, her first significant role was in the role of Naevia the slave in Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016 Mazikeen was cast as a bounty hunting demon in the Netflix smash hit Lucifer. She has played her the most significant role to now. On the show she co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
