Shay Mitchell, a Canadian actress and model is an entrepreneurs. Her most well-known character is Emily Fields on the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. After her success in dance, modeling and acting she took acting classes. Mitchell gained commercial roles and acting roles as a guest in TV shows. The break came in the form of played Emily Fields' role in Pretty Little Liars. The critics and the fans alike were impressed with her performance. She then made her mark on the field of film by appearing in films as DreamlandMother's Dayand The the Posession of Hannah Grace. The actress starred in the"You," a psychological thriller, and it earned more attention. Apart from performing, she also was a writer. Together with Michaela Blaney she wrote an adult novel titled Bliss. Shay Mitchell's parents, Mark Mitchell (born April 10, 1988) and Precious Garcia, brought her up on the streets of Ontario Canada. Her mother is Filipina, while her father has Irish and Scottish heritage. Mitchell is her cousin to Lea Salonga the renowned musical theater actor and singer. When she was a kid, Mitchell attended Rockridge Secondary after which she transferred to West Vancouver Secondary School. At the end of her teenage years she was modeling for various companies across the globe. She travelled across the globe to Barcelona, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, ultimately returning home to Toronto and studying acting.
